What To Expect

The Bund
The Bund is a waterfront barrier and is the #1 symbol of Shanghai for hundreds of years. It affords marvelous views across the river of the Pudong district and its numerous towers. The most famous and attractive sight which is on the west side of the Bund is the 52 various buildings of different architectural styles including Gothic, Baroque, Romanesque, Classicism, and the Renaissance. At night the Bund and the surrounding skyscrapers are all lit up, making for a fabulous night on the town! After walking at the Bund, we'll take a river cruise to watch the city skyline from the river that separates the West and East Shanghai.

Nanjing Lu (Nanjing Road)
Shanghai’s premier shopping street. Open-air bars, abstract sculptures, and lingering sounds from street musicians enhance evening strolls. Yu Garden (Yuyuan)
Yuyuan Garden is a famed classical garden, and even though it may be small, it contains numerous pavilions, halls, rockeries, ponds, and cloisters, and all have unique characteristics. There are six main scenic areas in the garden: Sansui Hall, Wanhua Chamber, Dianchun Hall, Huijing Hall, Yuhua Hall, and the Inner Garden. Each location features several scenic spots within its borders. You can’t believe there is one of the best Chinese gardens located in Downtown Shanghai.

Shanghai World Financial Center
The Center is a supertall skyscraper located in the Pudong district of Shanghai. The tower is 492 meters (1,614.2 ft), making it the 12th tallest building in the world and the fourth tallest structure in Mainland China. Similar to New York's Empire Building, this skyscraper is one of the symbols of Shanghai.

Master-of-Nets Garden
The Master of the Nets Garden in Suzhou is among the finest gardens in China. The garden demonstrates Chinese garden designers' adept skills for synthesizing art, nature, and architecture to create unique metaphysical masterpieces. The Master of the Nets is particularly among garden connoisseurs for mastering the techniques of relative dimension, contrast, foil, sequence and depth, and borrowed scenery.

Humble Administrator's Garden
Built during the Ming Dynasty, the Humble Administrator's Garden is the largest and most renowned classical landscape garden in Suzhou, covering 5.6 hectares (13.8 acres). As one of the four most famous gardens in China, it is a 5A tourist spot listed in the Key National Historical Conservation Units and valuable cultural relics in the world.

The Lingering Garden
The Lingering Garden is a renowned classical Chinese garden. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was commissioned by Xu Taishi, an impeached and later exonerated official in 1593 CE. The garden is divided into four distinctly themed sections; East, Central, West, and North. The built elements of the garden are grouped by area. You will find those unique elements and styles during your guided tour.

Canglang Pavilion (Blue Wave Pavilion)
The Pavillion is variously translated as the Great Wave Pavilion, Surging Wave Pavilion, or Blue Wave Pavilion, which is one of the Classical Gardens of Suzhou that are jointly recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was built in 1044 CE by the Song dynasty poet Su Shunqin (1008–1048), on the site of a pre-existing imperial flower garden c 960 CE. The garden sits on a branch of the Fengxi Stream, which forms a lotus pond. The garden has 108 windows, each one with a unique design. Unlike other gardens, Canglang Pavilion emphasizes the harmony between human-made buildings and the natural environment. Before entering the garden, you can see a beautiful green pool that is surrounded by weeping willows.
