What To Expect

Yu Garden (Yuyuan)

Meet your guide in your hotel lobby in the morning. Discuss with your guide about your preference and customize your tour itinerary. You can either following the below popular itinerary or go with your own unique one.
Typically, you will visit the famous Yuyuan garden first. Spend your relax morning strolling around the ancient garden with multiple pavilions, corridors, ponds, rockeries, walkways and beautiful trees. Enjoy the picturesque view and hear the rich history from your guide. (Please note, Yuyuan garden close on Monday, if you book the tour on Monday, please choose other attractions).

Former French Concession

Head to French concession, the old center of colonial life. See the impressive French style architecture, learn the history of Shanghai during 1840th and take a nice stroll along the walkways with beautiful French trees. Then head to French style Park and see locals dancing, singing and practicing Tai Chi . Revitalize yourself with a delicious lunch in a local restaurant.

Fantastic tour! Saw a mix of old and modern Shanghai. Lynn was an excellent guide giving us a real insight into Shanghai. She is very knowledgeable and made it a fun, interesting day. Highly recommend.

Shanghai Day Tour - Full Day

This is the 3rd tour I’ve done with this company in Shanghai, the previous ones being solo trips, this time I had the family with me including my 15yr and 20rd old children. Daisy our guide along with the driver made the day hassle free, on what was a very busy and hot Friday. Daisy’s knowledge of the city and surrounding areas was excellent, we started with the Maglev, Shanghai Tower, lunch was great the family enjoyed the local dumplings on offer, then to Jade Buddha Temple, Yu Garden the finished with a river cruise. We were finally delivered to a local restaurant by Daisy who ensured we found friends who were waiting for us. Another great tour, full day with lots on offer.

My family and I was so blessed to have Angela as our tour guide in the private city tour. Our tour is scheduled at 8:30 in the morning . Angela was already waiting at our hotel lobby before the scheduled time. She was very kind and introduced herself to us. She also suggested places of interest to visit, Was knowledgeable about the History of each places as well.

Our ride going around the city was very comfortable, The driver was pleasant.

We first visited the Temple with a Gigantic Jade Buddha. 2nd stop is the people’s park where The Bund is located. Angela also took us to the Pearl Center which offered really high quality fresh water pearls at a very reasonable price. The store also have a jade store.

Went to Shanghai Tower to see all the magnificent skyscrapers Shanghai has to offer. Next, was lunch which is scrumptious, Authentic Shanghai cuisine. After lunch, We went to the Old town and visited the Yu Garden . Chinese architecture all over.

Angela also took us to a tea ceremony which in my opinion is a very educational one.

It was an awesome day for me and my family. I would highly recommend Angela as your tour guide. Did I mention that she’s also patient with kids.

All in all , our trip to Shanghai would not be complete if we were not able to book this private city tour.
