Shikumen Museum, Shanghai

It is an old shikumen house built in the 1920s that has been preserved and renovated. The museum was built according to the model of one household in the 1920s. There are seven main exhibition rooms, namely, the guest room, the study room, the old people's room, the master room, the daughter room, the pavilion room and the oven room. The story of a shikumen family runs through the whole visit. Oriental Pearl Tower (Dongfang Mingzhu)

Once the tallest building in Shanghai, the Oriental Pearl Tower remains one of the most recognizable skyscrapers in Pudong, part of the skyline visible from The Bund. The sci-fi-esque 1,535-foot (468-meter) tower houses observation platforms, a glass-bottomed walkway, rotating restaurant, as well as the Shanghai History Museum in its basement.
The Oriental Pearl Tower’s facade is impossible to miss during a Shanghai visit.
