Meet your private guide at your central Shanghai hotel at your prefered time.Tell your guide if there’s anything you want to see more of on your tour: your itinerary is flexible and can be 100% customized around you. Following is the sample itinetary and you are welcome to discuss with your guide if you want to customize your own tour. Typically, you will visit The Bund , the colonial-era promenade along the Huangpu River. Admire the stunning views of old and new Shanghai, including buildings such as the Bund's Old Customs House and iconic skyscrapers.

Yu Garden (Yuyuan)

Afterward, visit the 500-year old classic Chinese Yu Garden, and view the traditional Qing-Dynasty architecture of the Old Town Bazaar. See the Huxingting Tea House near the ‘Nine Zigzag’ bridge and enjoy fun time to shop for souvenirs such as tea, antiques, jade, pearls, silk, and other wares. If you wish, experience a tea ceremony (own expense) and sample some high quality local tea.

Former French Concession

Then, visit Shanghai’s French Concession, once the center of colonial life and now a hip area. Visit the ‘French Park,’ to see locals enjoying activities like ballroom dancing, Tai-chi, singing, and water calligraphy, and stroll around the Concession with its charming avenues of ‘French trees’ and traditional houses.

Shanghai Tower

After lunch head to Lujiazui area ,take a leisure walk along the skybridge among the futuristic mordern skyscrappers. Marvel at the fast development of city. If nice clear day, choose to visit one of the top obervation deck in the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Shanghai Financial Tower, Jinmao Tower, or Shanghai Tower based on your own preferences. Enjoy the spectacular birdeye view of the mega Shanghai city.

Jade Buddha Temple

Continue the tour to visit one of the most beautiful and famous buddhist temple -Jade buddha temple. Admire the exquisite Jade Buddha Status from Burma,explore different chambers of the temple and learn the fasinating religiouns culture ,wisdom from your knowledgable guide.

As the exclusive flexible tour , if you have been to the above mentioned attrations , you could also have alternative options to visit Nanjing Road Shopping street, Tianzifang, Shanghai Museum, Urban Planning Hall, Shanghai poster art museum, AP Plaza market etc based on the time and your own interests.

An amazing customised tour with Sunny!

Our family enjoyed every minute of this wonderful, amazing trip! Sunny is knowledgeable, thoughtful, careful and friendly. Our van was cool and comfortable and the driver was excellent and everything went to schedule. Sunny expertly navigated us through all of the required reservations and health checks at our stops. We began in charming Old Shanghai on the way into Yu Gardens that was so much better with Sunny's interpretive knowledge which revealed details and stories that really brought each site we visited alive. We stopped for a delicious lunch at a lovely resurant where Sunny helped us order a fabulous Chinese meal. After lunch we toured the impressive Jade Buddha Temple and went to the French Concession for coffee in a cafe and did a little shopping :) We later went to the Oriental Pearl Tower which gave us amazing views of Pudong, the river and the Bund just as the sun was starting to cast long shadows. What a memorable, beautiful day! Sunny is the best! We loved this customised tour so much that we booked Sunny again for a Zhujiajiou Water Town tour later in our week, and we think you should too!!

The entire day was planned and customized to what we wanted, professionally managed and executed. I can highly recommend Sunny to anyone who wants to have a stress free guide of the best Shanghai has to offer.

Shanghai is an amazing city with so much history, stunning architecture old and new. The day started with a pickup at our hotel, then a walk to Yu Gardens. We Visited people's Square, The Jade Buddha Temple, and were dropped off at the Shanghai Tower, in between a most divine lunch.

My friend had many ancestors who lived in the Shanghai area. We did not know if the addresses remained or if the land marks were the same. Sonny was wonderful and helped us locate most of the areas we wanted to visit. She was a delight to talk to regarding her knowledge and interest in a variety of subjects. I hope to visit Shanghai again and look forward to touring and dining with Sonny.

We were a group of 10 in the first part of the 2-day tour of Old and New Shanghai. Lily was our personal guide for this. We were delighted that she picked us up at the Shanghai Kang Koi train station when we arrived from Tianjin. She was excellent in managing time and we went and did a very nice boat tour in the evening and when the buildings lit up after dark it was beautiful.
The next morning she promptly picked us up at our hotel at 8 a.m. in Pudong area and then we started out quickly in the morning with the trip up the Shanghai Tower and then to Yue Garden, and some other places.
We loved this tour that my sister organized in consultation with Sunny, the owner of the company.
Fei Fei took us on a separate tour to River Town.
All three, Sunny, Lily, and FeiFei were absolutely fantastic. The best part is that they were very flexible which is the best part of have a private tour organized.
I will highly recommend them. Of over 100+ cities that I have toured around the world over the past decade, I can easily state that dealing with Sunny and the tour organized by her company as well as the guides was among the best experiences I have had in a foreign country.

Great way to see the best of Shanghai

We would highly recommend this tour. We found the pace of the tour excellent for seeing all the key areas with enough time to explore and understand the significance and history of the location. Our guide, Rita, was a lot of fun to explore the city with and very knowledgeable. We only had a short time travelling through Shanghai on a longer trip so this was an ideal way to get a first experience of a city. We would certainly look at other tours when we return to Shanghai in the future.
