During this 3 hours food tour, you will explore former french concession areas and enjoy tasty noodle and wonton in 3 different local restaurants in the back alleys. You will find the noodle are made in different techniques, such as hand-pulled, knife-cut or home-made along with shrimp wonton in beef soup. Meet your adventurous foodie guide at Huangpi Road Station (Shanghai Metro Line 1), and venture to the residential area starting from the famous Huaihai Road. You will first go to the Dingtele restaurant (in Shanghai dialog means fantastic) hidden in local compound through the alleyways. Satisfy your appetite with mouthwatering noodles. Those aromatic flavors include sesame paste, scallion oil, braised meat sauce along with deep fried schnitzel, shredded shitake mushrooms and scallops.
