Overview

The one-day tour will lead you to visit Zhujiajiao water town, experience beautiful scenery and immerse you into local culture.

Your guide will pick you up at around 8:00

Take a traditional sculling boat in the river to tour around the town.

Main attractions are Yongquan Bridge → Watercolor art gallery → boat→ Fangsheng bridge → the first teahouse → sauce and pickles shop → Chinese Medicine Pharmacy → City God Temple → Bureau of Post of Qing Dynasty

The lunch is on your arrangement. You can choose a local restaurant in the town according to your own preference, and at your own expense.

What To Expect

Zhujiajiao Ancient Town
Zhujiajiao is one of the best-preserved ancient towns around Shanghai with a history over 1,700 years. Small rivers with 36 old bridges, narrow streets and old architectures give very different feeling than many other places. Sampans on the river manage the traffic and it is also a nice experience to navigate the town.
